Medibank is one of Australia's largest private health insurers. The team set out to build a new health and wellness engagement strategy — Live Better — that would reward healthy behaviours and deepen the relationship with members. Ellipsis was engaged to support the design and implementation, covering Customer Value Proposition design, financial modelling, feasibility of implementation options, and ongoing technology vendor sourcing.

Our loyalty consultants conducted detailed financial modelling to build a 3-year business case, drawing inputs from Medibank's financial and actuarial teams. In parallel we worked with the program management team to develop the optimal program design and structure, benchmarked against global competitors. From there we partnered with Medibank to source, evaluate and onboard cutting-edge technology vendors capable of delivering the customer proposition.
The Live Better program launched successfully to the full Medibank member base across multiple direct and digital channels. Ellipsis's modelling continues to be a critical input into ongoing business planning, and the technology recommendations enabled Medibank to build the customer experience the team had originally scoped.
