Westpac's completed the integration of ShopBack into its banking app. Since December 2022, Westpac customers have received more than $12 million in cashback. CBA, by comparison, had a run rate of $10 million distributed back to its CommBank Rewards cashback customers in 2021. Westpac's app is also now Australia's best banking app according to Forrester (a title Commonwealth Bank held for many years previously) and ShopBack is the largest cashback platform in the Asia-Pacific.
