Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand are proposing a new alliance in which Virgin customers would earn Velocity Frequent Flyer points and status credits on Air New Zealand flights between Australia and New Zealand. Approved by the Australian regulator it's yet to be approved by New Zealand’s Ministry of Transport.
