Amazon Australia has launched PayTo from NAB allowing customers to pay from their bank accounts and avoid paying with Visa or Mastercard. The Amazon solution is delivered by NAB and it's fintech partner Banked (NAB is an investor). Last year Banked acquired Australian pay by bank start-up Waave. Chemist Warehouse will this year also launch a pay by bank solution in its stores using a QR code.
