Qantas’ frequent flyer program generated A$2.5 billion in revenue in fiscal 2024 (11% of the company’s total revenue). It has a target to double earnings from its loyalty business to $1 billion a year by 2030. Virgin’s competing frequent flyer program Velocity Frequent Flyer delivered one-fifth ($115.2 million) of Virgin Australia's overall $519 million in underlying earnings last year.
