Commonwealth Bank backed Tangerine Telecom has bought Aussie Broadband's digital-only, year old broadband provider Buddy (which has cheaper prices than its core brand) for $8 million. CBA has a 40% stake (increased two months ago) in More and Tangerine and uses More’s mobile and internet services as part of its CommBank Yello rewards program which gives discounts if customers pay using a CBA account.
