Private Equity firm GTCR LLC is in talks to acquire prepaid gift-card provider Blackhawk Network. The transaction could value Blackhawk at US$4 billion to $5 billion. Blackhawk is currently owned by Silver Lake Management and P2 Capital. Silver Lake and P2 Capital agreed to take the company private in 2018 in a deal worth $3.5 billion.
